Business Analyst
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team. This role plays a key part in shaping the future of our Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse initiatives by driving data‑informed solutions that strengthen our operations and deliver meaningful value across the organization. You will partner closely with an experienced team and with cross‑functional stakeholders, while reporting directly to our Business Intelligence Program Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects within a dynamic, high‑performing environment.
How You’ll Make an Impact
As a Business Analyst at GB, you’ll:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define systems’ scope and objectives through research and analysis.
- Analyze business processes, identify and address process inefficiencies.
- You will assist with the design and implementation of operational and system improvements to ensure production capabilities are both effective and efficient.
- Write clear, actionable business requirements and oversee user acceptance testing with stakeholders and vendors.
- Build trust and foster strong relationships with key business partners.
- Navigate complex technical environments, managing data from multiple platforms and vendors.
- Bring clarity to ambiguous projects and guide teams toward impactful solutions.
- Demonstrate excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of Worker’s Compensation Claims data.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Has experience in business analysis, data integration, and analytics (5+ years in a BSA role, 4+ years in SQL, 2+ years in Analytics/BI).
- Is proficient in SQL and has worked with disparate data sources to create unified solutions.
- Communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, facilitating meetings and building trust.
- Thinks strategically, aligning business and technical objectives to deliver meaningful outcomes.
- Excels in documentation, creating clear and concise business requirements documents (BRDs).
- Thrives in a collaborative environment, working across teams and managing competing priorities.
- Is adaptable to different project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
- Has knowledge of Worker’s Compensation Claims data.
